About the Role:
I'm a business owner and an author in New York City looking for a savvy and results-driven
Part-Time Paid Ads and Social Media Specialist to take my books digital presence to the next
level. This is hands-on role perfect for a motivated individual who lives and breathes social
media algorithms, paid advertising, and content creation.
You will be responsible for launching, managing, and optimizing my paid ad campaigns
across key platforms while also strengthening my organic social media profiles. The ideal
candidate is a strategic thinker who can work independently, analyze data to make smart
decisions, and deliver measurable results on a tight budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Paid Advertising Management
- Develop, launch, and manage paid advertising campaigns on Meta Ads and GoogleAds
- Monitor daily and weekly performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reports on ad spend and results
- Continuously A/B test ad copy, creatives, and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance and maximize ROI
Social Media Strategy and Growth
- Audit and optimize existing social media profiles to improve engagement and follower growth
- Research, create, and launch new profiles on other relevant social media platforms to expand the books reach
- Stay ahead of the latest algorithm changes and trends on all major platforms to ensure content strategy remains e ective
Content Creation and Posting
- Create high-quality, engaging content (graphics, short form video, stories, etc.) tailored to each specific platform and its audience
- Develop a consistent content calendar and schedule posts for optimal engagement
Who You Are:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing paid social and search campaigns (Meta Ads and Google Ads are essential).
- You are adept at understanding social media algorithms and know how to craft content that performs well organically and through paid boosting.
- You are a creative self-starter, excellent at creating engaging content from scratch.
- You are data-obsessed and know how to track, interpret, and act on campaign statistics to drive better results.
- You are resourceful and understand how to achieve significant results on a limited budget.
- You are a great communicator, able to work independently and provide clear updates.
- A portfolio or examples of past successful ad campaigns and social media profiles you have managed
- Proficiency in Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, and YouTube Studio
- Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with tracking pixels and conversion metrics
