Job Summary
The HR Executive will play a key role in managing and executing HR functions including hiring, onboarding, employee documentation, and training coordination. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to communicate effectively with both administrative staff and coaching teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring
Manage end-to-end recruitment for coaches, administrative staff, and seasonal hires.
Draft and post job openings on various platforms.
Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interviews with department heads.
Manage background checks, reference checks, and credential verification (e.g., lifeguard certification, swim coaching certificates).
2. Onboarding & Orientation
Organize and execute onboarding processes for new hires.
Prepare and distribute onboarding materials, employee handbooks, and safety guidelines.
Conduct orientation sessions covering workplace policies, swim school culture, and facility procedures.
Ensure new employees complete all required compliance tasks.
3. Employee Paperwork & HR Administration
Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HR systems.
Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, appraisal forms, and other HR documents.
Oversee timekeeping, attendance records, and leave management.
Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and organizational HR standards.
4. Training & Development
Coordinate staff training sessions, including water safety, CPR, customer service, and teaching methodology.
Track training schedules, certification renewals, and compliance requirements.
Identify training needs and support career development programs for coaches and staff.
5. Employee Relations & Support
Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries.
Support conflict resolution and escalate issues when needed.
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
6. HR Operations & Process Improvement
Assist in creating and improving HR procedures and workflows.
Support health & safety compliance across swim school facilities.
Provide HR reports and data analysis to management as required.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR or administrative roles (experience in sports, fitness, or education industry is a plus).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with HR software and MS Office tools.
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
