Position Overview
We are seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Researcher to support the content creation process. You will be responsible for researching the latest hardware, compiling product specs, comparing devices, fact-checking scripts, and keeping up with tech trends to fuel video ideas.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth product research on laptops, desktops, GPUs, CPUs, and other creator-focused gear.
Track hardware launches, updates, benchmarks, and price changes.
Create research briefs comparing multiple products based on performance, pricing, and use case.
Draft summaries of user reviews, Reddit threads, and forum discussions to identify real-world pros/cons.
Assist in writing, proofreading, and fact-checking video scripts and outlines.
Maintain databases or spreadsheets of products, specs, release dates, and affiliate links.
Suggest timely video topics based on trending tech news and search demand.
Communicate regularly with the channel owner to align research with content goals.
Requirements:
Passion for tech (especially laptops, PC components, and content creator gear).
Excellent research skills with the ability to distill complex information clearly.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, Google Docs, and online tools.
Fluent in English (written communication is key).
Bonus: Familiarity with YouTube, SEO tools, affiliate marketing, or content creation workflows.
Understanding the difference between GAMING tech and CREATOR tech
Nice to Have:
Prior experience in tech journalism, reviews, or YouTube assistance.
Understanding of benchmarking tools (e.g., Geekbench, Cinebench, Pugetbench).
Ability to use AI tools to speed up research or analysis (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity).
Basic scriptwriting or video planning experience.
