JOB OVERVIEW

A results-driven SEO Marketing Specialist is required to support organic growth initiatives through strategic search engine optimization. This role will focus on improving website visibility, search rankings, and qualified traffic across key digital properties. The specialist will work closely with marketing and content teams to execute SEO strategies aligned with business objectives.

This position is offered on a part-time or consultancy basis, ideal for an experienced SEO professional managing multiple clients or projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve organic performance

- Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis to support content planning and optimization

- Optimize website structure, metadata, internal linking, and content for search engines and user experience

- Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements (site speed, indexing, crawlability, schema, etc.)

- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms

- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics; provide actionable insights

- Collaborate with content, web, and paid marketing teams to align SEO with broader digital strategies

- Identify backlink opportunities and guide ethical link-building initiatives

- Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Consultant, or similar role

- Strong understanding of on-page, technical, and off-page SEO principles

- Hands-on experience with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or equivalent)

- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword tracking tools

- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear recommendations

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote or flexible environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working with multiple industries, including B2B and B2C

- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow

- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as it relates to SEO

- Experience collaborating with content writers and developers
