Our client is a leading UAE-based digital communications and social media agency specializing in end-to-end social media strategy, creative production, content development, community management, and analytics. They partner with high-profile government, semi-government, and corporate organizations to deliver strategic, high-quality, and performance-driven digital storytelling across social platforms.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Video Editor with strong expertise in short-form and social-native video content. This role requires creative storytelling ability, excellent technical editing skills, and a deep understanding of social platform content behaviors—especially for Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and corporate storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form videos for social media, including reels, TikToks, stories, event recaps, interviews, testimonials, and corporate highlights.

  • Develop strong narrative flow, pacing, and social-native storytelling structures aligned with regional audiences.

  • Apply sound design, color correction, motion overlays, text treatments, and transitions.

  • Use AI-powered editing tools (Descript, Runway, AutoPod, etc.) to improve efficiency and production quality.

  • Optimize video aspect ratios, export settings, and platform-specific technical requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with videographers, graphic designers, and account management teams.

  • Manage fast-turnaround edits for events and real-time content coverage.

  • Maintain organized workflows, file management, version control, and asset libraries.

  • Propose creative editing styles and treatments aligned with trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a video editor in a digital or social media agency.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; After Effects skills are a plus.

  • Proven experience editing high-quality short-form content for Reels, TikTok, and corporate communications.

  • Understanding of government and corporate brand tone is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered editing and automation tools.

  • Strong English communication skills and ability to interpret briefs accurately.

  • Ability to work in alignment with UAE working hours or through structured flexibility.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
