About the position: In this position, you will be spearheading the investigation into the feasibility of atmospheric science use cases for the groundbreaking Ultimate Tumbleweed Mars Mission. Through cutting-edge simulations and rigorous testing, you'll unravel the mysteries of Martian terrain, paving the way for the ultimate mission success. We're seeking visionary minds with a knack for analytical thinking to tackle complex challenges head-on and shape the future of space exploration.

Strong proficiency with programming tools (Python, Matlab)
Familiarity with numerical modelling and experimental testing
Good documentation and reporting skills
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Planetary Sciences, Earth Sciences, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
Expected commitment of at least 1.5 years and approximately 15 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Update and expand atmosphere science use cases and instrument developments.
Investigate the technical feasibility of atmospheric science use cases to produce attractive products for the Ultimate Tumbleewed Mars Mission.
Regularly collaborate with engineering and business departments to align on constraints and customer needs, respectively.
Work regularly with external researchers and engineers (Project Mentors) and attend relevant conferences/events.
Establish science, mission, and instrument requirements for the Ultimate Tumbleweed Mars Mission.
Document and publish findings in a journal or conference proceeding.
