Business Analyst

Greenville, SC based site location consulting firm is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and to help us deliver high-quality location strategy solutions to our clients. GLS has assisted clients from over 50 countries choose optimal locations for their facilities and negotiate valuable incentive packages. In this position, you will work on various projects across different industries and sectors, conducting research, analysis, and presentation of data and insights.

**Responsibilities:**

- Gather and analyze data from various sources, such as surveys, reports, databases, etc., and GLSs own proprietary software platforms Site Shepherd, Lasso and Location One.
Use Excel, Power Point, and other tools to create and maintain dashboards, models, charts, graphs, and other data visualizations
- Write clear and concise reports, memos, proposals, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and other team members to ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions
- Support business development activities by conducting market research, identifying opportunities, and preparing proposals
- Stay updated on the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in the field of business analysis

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, statistics, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst or a similar role in a consulting firm or a corporate environment
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong skills in data analysis and presentation
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documents
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and generate insights
- Good with data visualization, with the ability to create and interpret charts, graphs, and other visual aids - Bonus points for ArcGIS experience, basics of python or any other programming language
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Willingness to travel as required by project needs
