Description:
The Transportation Expediter/Coordinator supports aviation logistics operations by managing transportation execution, shipment expediting, and customs import/export activities conducted at designated CONUS ports of embarkation and associated logistics nodes. The position ensures the timely, compliant, and secure movement of mission-critical aviation materiel through the CONUS transportation pipeline in direct support of Ministry of National Guard Aviation (MNGA) programs.
Qualifications:
- Ability to coordinate time-sensitive and mission-critical shipments in a high-tempo operational environment.
- Experience coordinating international shipments through CONUS ports of embarkation (air and/or sea).
- Familiarity with customs import/export procedures and international shipping documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with shipment tracking systems, ERP tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or freight forwarding operations.
- Working knowledge of DOT, IATA, and general export compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR awareness).
Salary and Benefits:
