Description:

Serves as the Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF) Instructor under the guidance of the Aviation Institute's Technical Department Training Manager. This role is responsible for delivering instruction for the 12M MOS Qualification Course, encompassing academic teaching, hands-on performance training, evaluations, and the development of course schedules. Ensures all training aligns with US DoD, NFPA, and MNG Aviation guidelines. Additionally, responsible for maintaining accurate Student Training Records.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate.
  • International Fire Service Accreditation Congress certification, DoD, and/or ProBoard.
  • Firefighter Level II.
  • ARFF Firefighter.
  • Hazardous Materials Operations.
  • Fire Inspector I.
  • Fire Instructor I/II.
  • Fire Officer I.
  • ARFF Driver Operator
  • Minimum of 10 years of firefighting experience in either the U.S. Military, DOD, or as a civilian.
  • Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B)
  • Expert knowledge of aircraft rescue and firefighting techniques, practices, equipment, first aid, and CPR.
  • Considerable knowledge of the design and characteristics of military and civilian rotary wing aircraft.
  • Considerable knowledge of exit and safety procedures of various military and civilian rotary wing aircraft, as well as structural fire/alarm detection/suppression systems.
  • Ability to quickly perform and direct all functions in difficult and hazardous situations without hesitation.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn, apply, and teach aircraft rescue and firefighting techniques and practices.
  • Proficient in operating aircraft rescue and firefighting equipment, tools, and vehicles, including highly specialized firefighting apparatus.
  • Proven ability to manage a team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; must be experienced in using Adobe Pro and other relevant programs and applications.


Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.

Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
