Description:
Serves as the Aviation Safety Technician for the Contractor's onsite personnel within the Aviation Support Battalion (ASB). Responsible for a wide variety of high-risk operations, facilities, and environmental conditions associated with aviation training, maintenance, and operational activities. Mentors MNG counterparts in developing and sustaining functional aviation and ground safety programs. Promotes and advocates the overall safety program of the GDC Middle East Aviation Director in all aspects of operations in support of Rotary Wing Operations. Provides oversight and conducts required inspections of associated maintenance, flight operations, training operations, and support operations to ensure a safe operating environment for employees and customers.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent training and experience required.
- Nine (9) years' experience in military aviation safety environment or corporate-related fields,
- Three (3) years' experience as an aviation safety officer.
- Graduate of a US Military Aviation Safety Course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
- Working knowledge of military safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to read and apply local regulations to daily operations.
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
