Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ground School Aviation Instructor to deliver classroom-based aviation training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in military or civilian aviation instruction and the ability to develop and deliver effective training materials to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom instruction on aviation subjects such as aerodynamics, weather, and safety.
- Develop lesson plans, study guides, and instructional materials as directed.
- Prepare and maintain training schedules, records, and reports; submit reports to the functional manager as required.
- Utilize training aids, devices, and audio-visual tools to enhance learning.
- Support curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure training delivery aligns with program requirements and standards.
- Provide instruction to both local and foreign military personnel as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Education or Aviation-related field highly desired.
- Minimum of 7 years of aviation training experience (military or civilian), including at least 3 years as a classroom instructor within the last 10 years.
- Demonstrated experience using training aids and audio-visual instructional tools.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written).
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- U.S. Army Methods of Instruction (MOI), Instructor Training Course (ITC), or accredited civilian aviation instructor certification (with Aerodynamics, Weather, and Safety endorsements).
- Experience training foreign military students.
- Knowledge of Systems Approach to Training (SAT).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand Arabic.
Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment.
Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations.
