Senior Shopify Developer

The Senior Shopify Developer will be the first in-house developer for a Sydney-based Shopify agency, responsible for delivering production-ready Shopify solutions across multiple client stores. The role combines hands-on development with ownership of development processes, including custom theme development, CRO and UX improvements, integrations, performance optimisation, testing, and deployment. The successful candidate will also help shape development standards and the use of AI tools within the agency.

• Develop and customise Shopify stores including themes, sections, product and collection pages, carts, and landing pages.
• Implement ecommerce features and integrations including A/B tests, bundles, upsells, promotions, apps, APIs, and Shopify Functions.
• Optimise store performance and tracking including site speed, Core Web Vitals, analytics, and event tracking.
• Own development processes and quality including Git, staging, code review, QA, deployment, technical scoping, and AI-assisted development workflows.
