About the job Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Our client is an innovative deep-tech company building a next-generation privacy and data integrity ecosystem that enables organizations to provably delete data using advanced cryptographic technology. The first product is now being brought to market, transforming cutting-edge cryptographic concepts into a practical B2B solution for companies where data control, compliance, and trust are critical. In parallel, several additional products are already in different stages of development.
This is a rare opportunity for a hands-on CTO to join at a pivotal early stage and work directly with the founders and the chief scientist to define the technical vision, shape the architecture, and lead the transition from research into production-ready products. You will play a key role in building not just a single product, but a broader technology platform that will redefine standards for verifiable data privacy.
Responsibilities:
Define and own the technical product architecture
Translate research and cryptographic IP into usable product features
Lead technical decision-making across development and system design
Align engineering, research, and business priorities into one product direction
Work closely with the developer and chief scientist on implementation
Requirements:
Strong understanding of concepts of identity and privacy
Strong understanding of how the application, buying and usage of third-party products integrates with enterprise systems
Familiarity with cryptography concepts
Strong understanding of what a tech product looks like in a B2B space
Experience with Rust programming language
Strong technical background with experience in system architecture and product development
Ability to translate complex technical research into practical, working products
Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and non-technical teams, public-speaking skills
Understanding of the market and every new development
Nice-to-have:
Experience with Blockchain and ICP
Background in deep-tech environments
Experience working in small, fast-moving, distributed teams
Prior CTO or equivalent technical leadership role
