Sales Manager
As the Sales Manager, you manage the sales organization, plan sales strategies that drive revenue
growth, and represent the sales organization as a member of the leadership team. Your primary focus is
on sales performance initiatives, including establishing and refining post-sales opportunities that drive
additional revenue. The Sales Manager also coaches and mentors sales team members, and is
responsible for ensuring that sales goals are met. This role requires a creative individual who possesses
a thorough knowledge of products and services and who uses this knowledge to grow sales and
develop a strong services group within the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Growing customer base to drive order and revenue growth
Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop sales plans and strategies, including
appropriate proactive sales measures (trade shows and other market outreach activities) to
increase sales and service revenue
Leading the activities of sales team, including hiring, coaching, developing talent, and managing
performance
Defining and implementing post-sales and reporting processes as part of continuous
improvement efforts.
Regularly reporting on sales performance and the sales pipeline (forecasting)
Collaborating with internal R&D operations to develop new business opportunities
Once an order has been received, ensuring the smooth transition to engineering department
which will then take full responsibility for the project.
Be the liaison between customers and other departments when required.
Required skills:
Technical sales experience, preferably in Abbess product space
Deep understanding of CRM software and excel or other key customer data and business
intelligence tools
Knowledge and working understanding of the latest post-sales customer success sales tools,
techniques, and methodologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to successfully manage customer relationships
This position requires use of information which may be subject to the International Traffic
in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
