Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all projects meet our standards of excellence. The Painter will work in a residential apartment complex.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and patching as needed
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying techniques
• Mix paints and match colors according to color theory principles
• Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements
• Perform plastering and caulking tasks to ensure smooth finishes
• Execute trim carpentry and fixture installations as part of the painting process
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure timely project completion
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow safety protocols while working in various environments, including residential and industrial settings

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting projects
• Familiarity with construction estimating and basic math skills for project calculations
• Experience with painting tools and projects
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks related to painting and construction projects
• Previous construction site experience is highly desirable
