About the Role:
Our client is actively seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. This position focuses on assembling high-quality fixtures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and a working knowledge of industry standards such as IPC 620 and IPC-J-STD-001.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble functional and precise fixtures based on engineering drawings and customer/internal specifications.

  • Perform quality control on both internal and vendor-supplied machine parts.

  • Machine and rework parts as needed to meet design specifications.

  • Support quality control in wiring processes.

  • Receive and inspect purchased/vendor items.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with IPC 620 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical fixtures and their functions.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and layouts.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Effective collaboration skills; ability to work well in a team setting.

  • Good manual dexterity and experience using hand tools, small power tools, and machinery.

Preferred:

  • Prior fixture assembly experience in a manufacturing or prototyping environment.
