About the job Technician
Job Purpose:
Develops
Electro-mechanical equipment by fabricating, custom
electro-mechanical assemblies, and testing components and
parts.
Duties:
*
Determines project objectives by studying engineering blueprints and
drawings; reviewing specifications and requirements with engineers.
*
Must be able to read and understand industrial standard schematics
and assembly drawing.
* Builds equipment by devising,
fabricating, and assembling components and parts. Including
troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies and printed circuit boards.
* Board level soldering, Cable fabrication techniques and assembly/wiring of various 19 inch Rack Systems and custom assemblies.
*
Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting
malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and
techniques.
* Maintains Job data base by entering
and backing up data.
* Contributes to team effort by
accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills/Qualifications:
Certified
to J-STD-001 and IPC-620 a plus but not a requirement, Soldering
tools Hand tools, Power Tools, Multi Meter, Equipment

Manufacturing Quality, Attention to Detail, Quality Focus
