Role: Korea Country Manager
Were seeking a Korea Country Manager to lead and grow our presence in South Korea. This is a leadership role that goes beyond community building you will drive market strategy, partnerships, and brand presence in Korea while serving as the primary liaison between the local ecosystem and our global team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Korean market, including community growth, partnerships, marketing, and ecosystem development.

• Represent the company at local events, conferences, and media opportunities, serving as the public face of the project in Korea.

• Build strong relationships with Korean Web3 stakeholders, including developers, communities, exchanges, media, and ecosystem partners.

• Work closely with global leadership to align local initiatives with broader company objectives.

• Oversee and support Korean community managers and local marketing contractors.

• Ensure Korean-language communications are timely, accurate, and tailored to resonate with local audiences.

• Identify opportunities for growth in the Korean market (e.g., collaborations, integrations, BD initiatives).

• Monitor local market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity to inform strategy.

Requirements

Experience & Education

• Bachelors degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or country management, ideally in the blockchain, fintech, or tech industry.

• Proven track record of growing brand presence and driving partnerships in Korea.

Skills

• Native-level Korean and fluent English (written and spoken).

• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to build and lead local teams.

• Deep knowledge of the Korean Web3 ecosystem, including exchanges, media outlets, influencers, and communities.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities across diverse stakeholders.

• Strategic mindset with strong execution capability in fast-moving environments.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience at a global blockchain/Web3 project.

• Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, DeFi, NFTs, or Layer 2 solutions.

• Existing network of industry contacts in the Korean crypto ecosystem.
