About the Role

The company is seeking an experienced API Engineer to develop and deploy endpoints for independent software vendors (ISVs) and institutional participants interacting with its exchange platform.

In this role, you will build and maintain FIX, REST, and SDK integrations that enable programmatic interaction with the platform, including pricing and trading workflows.

This is a high-impact position involving close collaboration with engineering teams and the development of systems that operate at scale and handle real financial transactions. You will play a key role in establishing the technical foundation for institutional access.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve API access
  Build systems that enable external participants to interact programmatically with the exchange and manage pricing activities.
• Support onboarding of institutional users
  Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate and support external participants accessing the platform.
• Manage integrations (FIX / REST / SDK)
  Design, implement, and test systems that support a range of integration methods and client requirements.
• Design for scale and compliance
  Build systems capable of handling high transaction volumes while maintaining auditability and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally
  Work with operations, compliance, and product teams to understand workflows and iterate on solutions.
• Contribute to technical direction
  Participate in architectural decisions, code reviews, and the establishment of engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with FIX, REST APIs, and SDK development
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and tools such as AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and edge/CDN platforms
• Experience building data-intensive applications or systems

Nice to Have

• Background in fintech, payments, or regulated systems
• Understanding of exchange backends, reconciliation, and audit requirements
• Experience with Go or similar backend languages
• Familiarity with blockchain / crypto / DeFi ecosystems
