Techifide is helping a fast-growing AEC software company hire a skilled Test Automation Engineer to level up their QA strategy and bring smarter automation to their growing product suite. You'll join a remote-first engineering team building impactful software for project controls and construction management.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute test plans (manual and automated) for web-based software products
• Build and manage automation scripts that support regression and smoke testing
• Use test management tools to organize, track, and report testing outcomes
• Work closely with devs, PMs, and designers to deliver reliable features and faster release cycles
• Contribute to QA strategies driven by user feedback, product vision, and roadmap
• Help maintain quality under pressure by making smart trade-offs during tight deadlines

Required Skills

• 3+ years of QA experience in commercial software product companies
• Strategic view of software product quality, with a bias toward automation
• Strong hands-on experience building manual and automated test plans
• Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, or TFS
• Experience with test management platforms for organizing and reporting
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Experience working in agile teams
• Bonus: background in project controls or AEC software is a big plus
• Excellent communication and cross-functional problem-solving skills
