Data Scientist - AI & Machine Learning

We're hiring a Data Scientist who's deeply hands-on with AI and machine learning. If you love turning messy datasets into real-world products, thrive in fast-moving environments, and want your models to ship into production - not just stay in notebooks - this role is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build, train, and deploy machine learning models that power search, personalization, classification, and automation
• Work with real-time and historical data to detect trends, forecast outcomes, and surface meaningful insights
• Apply NLP techniques to extract key information, summarise content, and tag metadata from unstructured text
• Collaborate with engineering to ship robust, scalable models into production systems (APIs, microservices, pipelines)
• Improve existing algorithms for performance, relevance, and fairness

What Were Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Machine Learning roles
  Solid Python skills with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with NLP tasks (e.g., classification, topic modeling, summarisation)
• Strong foundation in statistics, modeling, and performance evaluation
• Experience working with real-time or streaming data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• English proficiency and strong communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with time-series forecasting or anomaly detection
• Familiarity with LLMs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.)
• Exposure to MLOps tools (MLflow, Airflow, DVC)
• Experience with vector search, semantic embeddings, or recommender systems
• Understanding of content quality, misinformation detection, or sentiment analysis
