Position:

• KDB Developer (Trade Monitoring Team)

Key Responsibilities:

KdB+ Architecture Maintenance & Support: 

• Ensure the continuous support, maintenance, and enhancement of the KdB+ infrastructure.

Market Data Management:

• Maintain, support, develop, and release market data solutions.
• Collaborate closely with the Front and Middle Office teams to gather requirements and design effective solutions for market data.

New Project Development (Commodity-Driven):

• Lead the requirements gathering and solution design phases for new projects, particularly for Front and Middle Office stakeholders.
• Design and implement new database structures and enhancements based on business needs.

Project Support (Total Gas & Power):

• Maintain, support, and develop projects within the Total Gas & Power branch, ensuring smooth operations.
• Provide support for new implementations as part of the broader Gas & Power IT team.

Ongoing Project Optimization:

• Contribute to the enhancement and reorganization of existing project structures to improve performance and scalability.
• Explore and support cloud migration strategies as part of the divisions continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

KdB+ Development Expertise:

• A minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience with KdB+ development is essential.
• Experience in developing and maintaining KdB+ architecture for existing projects using Agile methodologies.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of database design and implementation.
• Experience in KdB+ architecture review and potentially migrating to cloud environments.

Collaboration & Support:

• Provide direct support to users, particularly within the Front Office, Middle Office, and Market Risk teams.
• Collaborate effectively with business users, fellow developers, and product owners to ensure project success.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Participate in the follow-up and testing of new developments to ensure smooth project implementation and delivery.

Industry Experience (Desirable):

• Previous experience in a trading or risk management environment is a strong advantage.
