Scope of the role

The Cloud Engineer manages, troubleshoots, licenses, and updates the Azure & M365 cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Azure AD, AD Connect, ADFS
• Maintain and develop Conditional Access policies
• Troubleshoot identity and access issues
• Maintain Azure policies
• Monitor and manage Azure resource usage and cost
• Set up and manage Azure resource monitoring
• Automate Azure resource creation
• Develop and maintain documentation of Azure infrastructure;
• Set up and manage Azure resource backup
• Create Azure Functions for automation
• Recommends / Establishes policies on system use and services;
• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions;
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning;
• Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure;
• Escalate problems to management, if necessary;
• Collaborate with Global IT;
• Respond to alerts from the monitoring system and from 1st-level support;
• Ensure that systems are managed per established SLA (Service Level Agreement);
• Support for global deployment will require off-hours support across multiple time zones;
• Provide replacement for another IT Systems Administrator in case of temporary absence (incl. vacation, sickness, business trip, etc.).
