Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our global team, you will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and advancing the shared platform services and CI/CD landscape, working closely with Cloud Engineers, Software Development teams, and Cyber Security stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and automation within AWS environments, along with solid scripting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and operate global shared platforms and CI/CD environments (.NET and Python).
- Help shape, build, and maintain the company's CI/CD technical landscape.
- Collaborate with Software Development teams to build and operate application CI/CD artefacts.
- Work with the Cyber Security team to ensure platform security standards are maintained.
- Integrate cloud resource creation (AWS) into application deployment processes.
- Contribute to the development of policies, standards, and guidelines for CI/CD processes.
- Support and troubleshoot platform and automation tooling.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tooling to optimize deployment and platform operations
Core Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical experience building and operating CI/CD platforms in .NET and/or Python environments.
- 3+ years operating and supporting global bespoke and/or commercial platforms.
- 2+ years of automation experience within an AWS cloud hybrid environment.
- Strong experience with both Windows and Linux ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Gitlab/Github, ECS (Nexus is a plus).
- Operating experience with platforms like Kafka, Redis, Elastic, Atlassian Suite, Datadog, ActiveBatch, or Control-M

Scripting expertise in one or more of Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of issues and objectives, and drive solutions to a high-quality conclusion.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, user-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Desirable Skills

Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry

Experience contributing to CI/CD strategy in an enterprise environment

Background in software development (.NET or Python)

SecOps experience with platforms such as Hashicorp Vault
