Cloud Engineer - Remote Pakistan

Job Description:

• Provision, maintain, troubleshoot & improve Cloud Platform/s
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Expert knowledge of networking and infrastructure provisioning in cloud, consisting of networks, security, compute, storage and databases.
• Understanding on Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
• Analyse errors in systems and define corrective measures.
• Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability and performance.
• Approved change execution
• DR Rehearsal & testing
• Troubleshooting network and performance issues
• Work on network ACL's and routes
• Cleanup of Snapshots
• VM upsizing & downsizing
• Track and update End-Of-Life Cloud services
• Work on Azure Backup and Site recovery
• Health Checks
• Decommissioning
• Fixing Vulnerabilities Cloud Security Posture (non-OS)
• Respond to alerts or incidents reported by monitoring tools.
• Check the health and performance of Azure resources using Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Review and update security configurations, ensuring compliance with best practices.
• Monitor for security incidents and respond as necessary
• Write and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates for automation.
• Ready to work on night shift and weekends.

Job Requirement:

• 5 – 8 years of working experience with Azure Microsoft Cloud
• Must have experience of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Working experience in Cloud Infrastructure (network, security, compute, storage, databases and Kubernetes) in Azure
• Understanding of Terraform & Azure DevOps
• Good Understanding of OS (Linux, Windows) Infrastructure
• Experience in Azure Administration
• Knowledge of PowerShell and Azure API's
• Understanding of Azure management and control plane components, from networking, access management, RBAC and security policies.
• Worked on Cloud IaaS and PaaS
• Skills in architecture, implementation and support
• Cloud Monitoring and backup
• Ensure on time service delivery
• Exposure in large-scale production environment.
• Certified in Azure, Network, Kubernetes and Operating Systems
