About the job Project Manager - Technology (Onsite Karachi)
Stakeholder & Business Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the Technology department to capture, analyze,, ensuring all tech initiatives align with bank's goals.
End-to-End Delivery Management: Take full ownership of the project lifecycle—from initial scoping and to final deployment—ensuring that high-quality fintech solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
Technical Orchestration: Translate complex business needs into actionable functional specifications for respective engineering and infrastructure teams, facilitating smooth communication and resolving technical bottlenecks throughout the development process.
Timeline Management: Keep projects on track from start to finish, ensuring milestones are met and high-quality results are delivered on time.
Problem Solving: Act as the main point of contact to resolve any issues or "bottlenecks" between the business side and the IT teams.
Digital Standards: Ensure all new tech features meet the bank's security standards and provide a smooth experience for digital banking customers.
Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and impact on existing banking systems (like Core Banking or Digital Channels), managing the change control process to ensure zero disruption to production environments and customer services.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in the relevant domain
2-4 Years of Experience ideally in banking domain
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar)
