Banking Project Manager – Oracle FLEXCUBE (Islamic Banking)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full lifecycle implementation of Oracle FLEXCUBE Islamic Banking modules, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation across multiple stakeholders
• Responsible to lead the Core Production Implementation within the SLA, schedule, budget and scope parameters, including testing & overseeing the quality and compliance controls throughout the project life cycle
• Collaborate with business teams to gather and document Islamic banking requirements (Murabaha, Ijarah, Mudarabah, etc.)
• Ensure system configurations comply with Shariah principles and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with technical teams for system integration, customization, and data migration
• Manage Integration/Design documentation describing deliverables to meet requirements
• Manage Implementation of customized FLEXCUBE solutions at Bank sites, support PWT & Training sessions, integration/Performance/Security Testing, UAT, Business Simulation and Production Rollout
• Ensure smooth Production cut over and Verify production transfer documentation are in place
• Responsible for achieving agreed SLAs
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and production rollout activities ensuring minimal disruption
• Manage vendor relationships, particularly with Oracle and third-party partners
• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Drive process improvements and best practices in Islamic banking technology implementations

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in banking or financial services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, IT, Business Administration, or related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
• Proven track record in Islamic banking system implementations or transformations
• Proven expertise in FLEXCUBE Islamic Banking module
• Deep understanding of Islamic finance products and Shariah compliance requirements
• Experience in banking digital transformation and core banking upgrades
• Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams
