Senior Software Developer - DAML & TypeScript Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DAML and TypeScript Developer to join our dynamic team of engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed ledger (DLT) application development and hands-on experience in building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions using DAML and TypeScript.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation financial and blockchain applications, collaborating closely with global teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts using DAML on distributed ledger technologies (DLT).

• Develop and integrate backend APIs using TypeScript and Node.js frameworks.

• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end blockchain-based solutions.

• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of applications.

• Conduct code reviews, testing, and performance tuning for deployed applications.

• Integrate DAML-based systems with existing enterprise applications and APIs.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Stay up to date with emerging blockchain and DLT trends to continuously improve solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional development experience with a strong focus on backend systems.

• Proven expertise in DAML (Digital Asset Modeling Language) and smart contract development.

• Strong command over TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful API design.

• Experience working with DLT platforms (Digital Asset, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, etc.).

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Sound understanding of security principles and best practices in blockchain development.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of financial services, DeFi, or enterprise blockchain ecosystems.

• Experience integrating DAML with PostgreSQL, Kafka, or other enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
