About the Role:
As an SAP MDG Functional Consultant at TEKHQS, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions to ensure enterprise-wide master data quality and consistency. This role requires expertise in MDG configuration, workflows, and data models while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, BASIS, and ABAP teams to streamline and optimize master data processes.
Responsibilities:
Conduct requirement gathering workshops with stakeholders to capture business needs.
Design and configure MDG solutions including data models, UI configurations, workflows, and validations.
Map business processes to MDG functionality, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.
Implement governance frameworks and change request processes within MDG.
Configure rule-based workflows, validations, and derivations to enforce data governance standards.
Provide support for MDG domains such as Material, Vendor, Customer, and Finance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MDG with SAP ECC/S/4HANA and other systems.
Deliver technical and functional support for ongoing MDG operations and enhancements.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MDG (implementation, configuration, and support).
Strong expertise in MDG data models, governance framework, workflows, and change request processing.
Experience in MDG domains: Material, Vendor, Customer, and Finance.
Proficiency in BRF+, Floorplan Manager (FPM), UI configuration, and data replication techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into MDG solutions.
