Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Technical Consultant with strong expertise in system customization, integrations, and performance optimization. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying technical solutions that extend D365 F&O capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with external systems, banks, and enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize D365 F&O using X++, C#, .NET, and Azure DevOps.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems (banks, third-party apps, legacy systems) using Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Entities, APIs, OData, and SFTP.
• Create and optimize custom workflows, reports, and extensions in alignment with functional requirements.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business needs (banking, payments, reconciliation, finance processes) into technical designs.
• Implement and manage data migrations, including ETL processes and data management frameworks.
• Ensure system performance optimization (batch jobs, queries, indexing).
• Apply security best practices (encryption, MFA, role-based access, audit trails).
• Develop and maintain technical documentation (solution design, integration architecture, data flows).

• Provide post-go-live technical support, bug fixes, and enhancements.

• Stay up-to-date with Microsoft updates (PU releases, hotfixes, LCS) and manage deployments across environments.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Technical Consultant / Developer in D365 F&O (Finance & Supply Chain).
• Proficiency in X++ programming, extensions, C#, .NET, SSRS reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, Event Grid).

• Experience with APIs, OData, JSON, XML, and integration patterns.

• Hands-on with data migration tools (DMF, BYOD, SQL).

• Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture, LCS,  DevOps pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with banking standards (ISO20022, MT940, MT101, CAMT.053, BAI2) is a plus.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer preferred.
