Solution Architect - Node.js

Role Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Node.js and IoT technologies to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade connected systems. You will architect solutions across IoT ecosystems, real-time data platforms, and modern backend infrastructure while mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Architect end-to-end solutions for IoT platforms, connected devices, and Node.js-based applications
• Design scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven distributed systems for high-volume device data
• Lead technical decision-making on architecture, frameworks, and technology stack
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Design and implement IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSockets, CoAP)
• Build real-time data processing pipelines for telemetry, device monitoring, and analytics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical IoT solutions
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
  Conduct architecture reviews, code audits, and performance optimization
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security for connected devices and platforms
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in IoT, edge computing, and backend technologies
  

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software development and solution architecture experience
  Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and backend frameworks (Nest.js preferred)
• Strong experience in IoT architectures, connected devices, and real-time data systems
• Hands-on experience with IoT protocols such as MQTT, WebSockets, AMQP, or CoAP
• Proven track record designing scalable microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with device integration, telemetry ingestion, and data streaming platforms
• Strong expertise in databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and caching layers (Redis)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, GCP IoT) and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of system design, architectural patterns, and scalability trade-offs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
