SAP ABAP Consultant

About the Role:

As an SAP ABAP Consultant (MDG Focused) at TEKHQS, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing technical enhancements that extend SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) functionality. This role requires expertise in ABAP development, SAP Gateway/OData services, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems. You will collaborate closely with functional, BASIS, and integration teams to deliver robust, scalable, and performance-optimized solutions that support enterprise master data processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP code, user exits, BAdIs, and enhancement implementations for SAP MDG.
• Support the development and enhancement of MDG-specific SAP UI5/Fiori applications.
• Develop and maintain data replication and integration interfaces (IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services).
• Ensure performance optimization of ABAP programs and data processing within MDG environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with ECC and S/4HANA systems.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for MDG-related custom developments.
• Ensure adherence to SAP development best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong SAP ABAP development experience with focus on MDG enhancements and extensions.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Gateway and OData services (development & troubleshooting).
• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 development in the context of MDG applications.
• Solid understanding of SAP integration technologies and scenarios involving MDG and ECC/S/4HANA.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
