Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Functional

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Consultant with strong expertise in bank integrations, payment automation, and financial reconciliations. The consultant will design, configure, and implement end-to-end solutions that connect D365 F&O with local and international banks, enabling automated payments, bank statement imports, and reconciliation workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with Finance, Treasury, and Banking teams to design integration scenarios (payments, statements, reconciliation).
• Configure D365 F&O payment formats (ISO20022 XML, MT101, local bank-specific formats).
• Implement secure bank connectivity via APIs, SWIFT, Host-to-Host, or SFTP.
• Enable bank statement automation (MT940, CAMT.053, BAI2) and schedule daily/intraday downloads.
• Configure and customize the D365 reconciliation module with rule-based automation for invoices, charges, partial/unknown payments.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integration via Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, or BizTalk.
• Support testing with bank sandboxes (payment cycles, reconciliation scenarios).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, data security, and encryption protocols.
• Train finance/treasury users on automated processes and reconciliation dashboards.
• Provide post-go-live support and optimization for additional banks/countries.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (Finance & Treasury modules).
• Strong understanding of global banking standards: ISO20022, SWIFT (MT940/MT101), BAI2, CAMT.053.
• Hands-on expertise in Payment Automation, Bank Reconciliation, and Treasury processes.
• Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault) or equivalent middleware.
• Knowledge of financial compliance and security standards (MFA, encryption, audit trails).
• Strong communication skills to engage both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance certification preferred.
