Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Telehealth Nurse to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide virtual nursing care to patients using telecommunication technologies. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct virtual patient assessments and provide appropriate nursing care based on the patient's medical history and current condition

- Educate patients on their health conditions and provide guidance on self-care and treatment plans

- Monitor and track patient progress, identify any changes in their condition, and communicate this information to the healthcare team

- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

- Utilize telehealth technologies to communicate with patients and provide remote care, including video conferencing, remote monitoring, and virtual consultations

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation

- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and ensure the security of patient information

- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on telehealth practices and technology advancements

Qualifications:

- Registered Nurse with a current, unrestricted license in the state of Alabama

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in telehealth or remote patient care

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in using telehealth technologies and electronic medical records

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Comfortable with providing virtual care and interacting with patients through telecommunication technologies

- Passion for improving access to healthcare and promoting patient empowerment through technology

Contract Details:

This is a Part-time, remote position with a competitive salary and benefits package. You will have the flexibility to work from home and manage your own schedule. However, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient needs.
