Job Description:
Remote Executive Assistant
We're seeking a growth-oriented executive assistant for a small, fast-growing US marketing technology company. The position is 100% remote and based in South Africa. This can be either a part-time or full-time position that will work extensively with our CEO and his team. If part-time, the required working hours would be from 14:00 to 19:00 SAST. If full-time, working hours would be from 13:00 to 22:00 SAST, with one hour for lunch, Monday through Friday.
Here are the major responsibilities for this position:
Primary
- Manage running task lists for each employee & remind/notify them and the CEO if deadlines are missed.
- Attend customer meetings with the CEO, taking notes, creating meeting recaps and assisting in presentation development.
- With the CEO, assist in customer coordination, e.g., inputting proposals using existing templates, sending correspondence, entering data into our systems, scheduling meetings, etc.
- Publish blogs, social media and other content assets weekly to WordPress-enabled websites.
Supporting
- Manage our external vendors.
- Coordinating internal and external events and staff training.
- Perform research and light data entry.
- Creating and sending a monthly industry newsletter using Mailchimp.
- Run and format standard reports.
- Scheduling and arranging meetings, travel, calls, etc.
The position requires the following skills and experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as an executive is required.
- You have excellent knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. You're a wizard with spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- You have excellent writing skills and can professionally present to different audiences.
- You are Internet savvy and social media literate.
- You are a wizard at publishing social media content and blog content to WordPress-based websites and optimizing them for maximum visibility.
