Lifting CAD Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD in an industrial environment
• Develop engineered crane lift plan drawings in line with project requirements
• Produce accurate site layout drawings from PDFs, including crane positioning, swing paths, and surrounding obstacles
• Work with scaled drawings and ensure correct proportions and measurements in all deliverables
• Support the planning and execution of lifting operations by interpreting load charts, radius, rigging arrangements, and crane configurations
• Collaborate closely with the Heavylift Specialist to ensure accuracy and compliance of lifting plans
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and documentation
• Provide on-site interpretation (English–Kazakh/Russian) to support oilfield operations and communication between teams
• Be available to work in the field up to 50% of the time, on an as-needed basis

Requirements:

• experience working as a CAD draftsman/ technician in industrial environment
• Capable of creating detailed technical AutoCAD drawings
• experience preparing engineered style crane lift plan drawings
• Understanding of Crane lifting operations including position, radius, load charts, and rigging arrangements
• Capable of making site drawings on CAD from PDFs showing crane position, swing paths, and surrounding obstackles
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
• fluent in English and Kazakh (Russian also a benefit)
• Able to provide on-site translation to support oilfield activities
• Able to work in Scaled drawings
