Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Purpose: To ensure the safe and efficient operation of assets through coordinated planning, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting, supporting strategic and performance goals.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate current and long-term planning of the department and its operations base.
  • Support the Line Manager in defining strategic objectives and KPIs for implementation of the Business Plan.
  • Maintain optimal asset production levels and identify opportunities to optimize production and operating performance while protecting people's safety, the environment, and the Company's reputation.
  • Ensure the integrity, availability, and reliability of equipment and plants.
  • Supervise the development and management of the Production Forecast Model.
  • Organize, coordinate, and manage reporting to the Authorities in coordination with the Line Manager.
  • Follow up invoicing in line with agreed production records.
  • Analyze production data against the forecast model and supervise fine-tuning of the model where necessary.
  • Plan, design, execute, and monitor planned maintenance interventions.
  • Execute and monitor unplanned maintenance interventions.
  • Define strategies and manage material management workflows.
  • Plan, design, implement, and monitor O&M services and spare parts management.
  • Support coordination with the Line Manager in the assessment of technical solutions.
  • Assist with updates to the Company's Business Plan and 4YP.
  • Prepare and edit relevant reports for Management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Higher University degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in the power energy industry; familiarity with renewable energy projects is an advantage.

Required Competencies & Skills:

  • Ability to liaise effectively with local technical authorities and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and ability to effectively supervise subordinates and manage Contractors.
  • Strong analytical thinking, reporting, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of RoK legislation, including Electrical Code, Technical Operation Rules, and Electrical Safety Regulations.
  • Decision-making ability and strong team-player attitude.
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office programs, email, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Good verbal and written English language skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based position, 5/2 work schedule, with business trips across Kazakhstan and abroad if required.
