Treasury Accountant

Job Title: Treasury Accountant

Purpose: Preparation, control and arrangement of bank payments and general ledger transactions, preparation of information for internal and external reports.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of Payment Orders obtain relevant approvals according to procedures and transfers arrangement.
• Accurate update of working files for bank, regular update of the Bank accounts balances.
• Perform reconciliation and filing of Bank statements and Treasury documents.
• Collect and archive the documents required by compliance and external auditors.
• Participation in month-closing, half-year and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Higher education in finance or economy.
• At least 3 years of related experience in Petroleum industry.
• Knowledge of international and local accounting principles.

Required Competencies:

• Working Knowledge of computerized accounting system (preferably SAP system).
• Working Knowledge of CitiDirect system, BESA, NET system.
• Good interpersonal & communication skills.
• Knowledge of basics of RoK labour law.
• Accuracy, team player.
• Capability to work with PC, MS office programs.
• Good verbal and written English.

Working Conditions:

• Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, if required.
