Job Title: Sustainability & Communication Specialist
Purpose: Support the Line Manager in communicating sustainability-related methods and systems to business units.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring activities are properly executed and monitored.
- Identify and respond to stakeholder interests and requests, escalating complex issues when required.
- Contribute to the implementation and reporting of sustainability initiatives, including action plans, KPIs, agreements, compliance documentation, payment procedures, communications, and close-out reporting.
- Support the preparation and implementation of Sustainability Initiatives, including action plans, KPIs, agreements, compliance procedures and documentation, payment procedures, communications, and close-out reporting.
- Assist in the preparation and tracking of budget proposals/forecasts related to social, non-profit, and external communication activities.
- Assist in monitoring the approval process and execution of projects.
- Support reporting on budget utilization and project implementation.
- Assist in drafting communications and preparing meeting minutes.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with stakeholders.
- Support internal communication activities, ensuring timely dissemination of information to employees and affiliates.
- Support external communication activities.
- Support the management and updating of content in the internal Portal.
- Support drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements.
- Prepare energy market analytics and presentations as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Higher University degree.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a local or international company; experience in the petroleum industry is preferable.

- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, understand the broader picture, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion.
- Strong self-management, planning, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Good verbal and written English language skills.
- Good knowledge of Kazakh and Russian languages.
Working Conditions:
- Office-based position, 5/2 work schedule, with business trips across Kazakhstan and abroad if required.
