Job Title:

Project & Development Coordinator

Purpose: To support in Project and Development activities, from the evaluation phase throughout the selection, definition and execution phases.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  1. Support in achieving the successful definition and delivery of projects in accordance with the agreed project objectives, including: HSEQ / technical integrity, performance and quality, cost, schedule, Company reputation and economic drivers.
  2. Support the work program and budget for the development, Production Optimization and Mandatory projects on annual base.
  3. Coordinating the preparation of decision support packages for Company value assurance reviews.
  4. Support in definition of Operators field development strategy, including preliminary contracting strategy and HSEQ plan; preparation of the risk register and the relevant mitigation strategy.
  5. Provide support and strong input managing the procurement and contracting strategy with well knowledge about tendering phase up to contract awarding in line with the defined field development plan and of the project execution plan.
  6. Establishing project procedures and policies.
  7. Support in day-to-day progress of the Project operations monitoring and optimizing the use of budget: reporting the project progress and costs trends to Company management, reviewing the authorization for payments, reviewing and assessing contract variations.
  8. Monitoring the project progress and costs and coordinating actions required to keep project on budget.

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have:

  • University degree (Engineering qualification).
  • At least 5 years experience in Project Development.
  • Preferable experience in International Oil and Gas company.

Required Competencies:

The job holder must have proven:

  • E&P management: standard workflow - best practices, joint ventures: representative, exploration budget & work plan.
  • Economics General: Economics, Economics Planning and Control, cost estimating/budgeting/cost analysis/control.
  • Project Management: preparation of development work program & budget, close-out report preparation, projects Planning and Control, cost estimating/budgeting/cost analysis/control.
  • Organisation Processes: Internal standard, project Management process, feed-back development and diffusion.
  • Knowledge of basics of RoK law related to Oil & Gas Industry and internal labor regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player, Accuracy.
  • Capability to work with PC, MS office programs.
  • Good verbal and written English.

Working Conditions:

Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, if required.
