Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Purpose: Verification, posting and analysis of all reports, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with accounting standards.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Verification, posting and analysis of all reports on monthly basis.
• Intercompany reconciliation, accurate posting.
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payables maintenance for local and foreign suppliers.
• Monitoring, control and analysis of accounts for Customers and Suppliers.
• Preparation of reconciliation Acts with Vendors / Customers.
• Accurate allocation and posting of Employee expense reports.
• Accruals management and posting in SAP system.
• Posting of consolidation adjustments and monthly reclassification entries in the system.
• Monthly cost allocation & revenue posting in the system.
• Recharge of costs coordination.
• Review and reconciliation of accounts maintained according.
• Manage and control fixed asset module, capitalization of new fixed assets.
• Preparation of year-end balance sheet and closing of accounts.
• Work with external and internal Auditors.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High University degree in finance or accounting.
• A minimum of 4 years related experience in Petroleum industry.

Required Competencies:

• Working knowledge of computerized accounting system (preferably SAP system).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basics of RoK labour law.
• Accuracy, attention to details.
• Team player.
• Capability to work with PC, MS office programs.
• Good verbal and written English.

Working Conditions:

• Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, if required.
