Job Title:

Interface Coordinator

Purpose: to control the flow of technical data across one or more project work package/contractor interfaces, to ensure a consistent design basis and data set, and thereby assure overall design consistency and integrity; to ensure interface activities are performed in compliance with project requirement, standards & procedures; to provide critical interface information to ensure proper integration in accordance with the overall project objective; to ensure that changes are properly managed in accordance with related procedure.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  1. Leasing with Follow-on Engineering contractor/ Engineering Coordinator in order to assure the alignment and consistency of technical designs and installation activities.
  1. Leasing with manager to ensure various permits are in place in line with permitting requirement.
  1. Assure interface status reports (including progress status and identification of concerns and highlight areas);
  1. Overall interface with project services, engineering and contracts management team to timely resolve technical and contractual issues for project to steer through without any difficulties.
  1. Managing project meetings, between different contractors in order to reduce technical and economic risks, negotiating the best resolution of interface discrepancy, if any.
  1. Managing a close contact with Project Site team and resolving around general project management/technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

The job holder must have:

  • Engineering or Economics degree.
  • 5 years of engineering experience.

  • Working experience in a Joint Ventures environment is desirable, not mandatory.

Working Conditions:

  • Office based, 5/2 scheduled work with business trips around KZ and abroad, when required.
