QA Lead

The Role:

Responsibilities:

• Write and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for new and existing features.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web-based applications.
• Develop and maintain automated acceptance tests using Codeception (Selenium-based).
• Leading testing efforts.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Log, track, and validate bugs through the full development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with a quality-first mindset.
• Contribute to process improvement efforts and documentation of QA best practices.

Attributes:

• Strong experience in manual testing, including writing clear and comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Experience with automated testing tools for web applications.
• (Ideally) Hands-on experience with Codeception (PHP) or similar acceptance testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and common issues in web-based applications.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to testing.
• Optional: Experience testing REST APIs
