Healthcare Superintendent

The Healthcare Superintendent will be responsible for managing day-to-day on-site construction operations. This individual will lead subcontractors, ensure schedules are met, maintain job site safety, and deliver quality results that align with healthcare industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing ground-up or interior healthcare construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee on-site construction of small to mid-sized healthcare projects
• Coordinate daily operations, subcontractors, and material deliveries
• Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and inspectors
• Conduct site walkthroughs and quality checks to ensure compliance and workmanship
• Handle RFI responses and support project documentation as needed
• Ensure healthcare-specific standards such as infection control and clean build protocols are followed

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Strong background in healthcare builds (ground-up, interior fit-outs, or renovations)
• Knowledge of medical facility codes, AHCA compliance, and safety best practices
• Proficient in construction scheduling software and field reporting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple trades and phases of work concurrently
