Terrelonge Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent specializing in glass installation to oversee and manage commercial construction projects in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the field of glass installation, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for glass installation projects.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines and budget constraints.
- Site Management:
- Oversee on-site activities, including but not limited to material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of glass installation work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Address any issues or defects promptly and effectively to maintain project integrity.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote productivity and teamwork.
- Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating project progress, challenges, and resolutions effectively and professionally.
- Document project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders, to maintain accurate project records.
- Cost Management:
- Monitor project expenses and resource utilization to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a focus on glass installation preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations related to glass installation.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
