As the Senior Manager, Big Data at CP Axtra, you will spearhead our data strategy and operations, overseeing a talented team of data professionals. You will play a pivotal role in leveraging big data to optimize business processes, enhance customer experiences, and fuel strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Together with Director of Data Analytics and Engineer, develop and execute CP Axtra's big data strategy in alignment with corporate objectives. Drive innovation in data analytics, machine learning, and AI to uncover actionable insights.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of data engineers, analysts, and scientists. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.
Data Architecture: Design and manage scalable data architecture to support both structured and unstructured data sources. Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all platforms.
Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate emerging technologies and tools related to big data analytics. Recommend and implement solutions that optimize data processing and analysis capabilities.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with department heads (IT, marketing, operations) to understand their data requirements and develop solutions that drive operational efficiencies and business growth.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data workflows. Implement best practices for data management and governance to enhance performance and reliability.
Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and implement robust security measures to safeguard sensitive information.
