Overall:

You will support the digitalization and standardization of our Production Planning & Control (PPC) workflows. Your role is to be the "process champion" who ensures our planning successful transition on Manufacturing 4.0 Journey.

1. Job Description:

Digital Process Documentation & Support:

  • Process Mapping: Interview planning team members to capture "as-is" workflows and draft clear, visual process maps (using Draw.io, Lucidchart, or similar).
  • SOP Maintenance: Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they reflect the new digital steps required by the MES and global digital standards.
  • Streamlining Workflows: Assist in identifying manual tasks in the planning office that can be simplified or automated to save time.

Manufacturing 4.0 & MES Deployment Support:

  • Digital Migration: Support the "clean-up" and migration of planning data from Excel/Legacy systems into the new MES platform.
  • User Support: Act as a first point of contact for the planning team during the digital transition, helping colleagues adapt to new digital flows and troubleshooting basic process gaps.
  • MES Testing: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new digital planning features to ensure they meet the needs of the Vietnam factory.
  • Digital Flow Synchronization: Monitor the flow of information between the ERP and the factory floor to ensure the "digital thread" remains unbroken.

Continuous Improvement & Productivity:

  • Loss Observation: Assist in "Waste Walks" within the planning and production areas to identify where digital tools could solve physical delays.
  • Project Tracking: Maintain the project timeline for digitalization initiatives, ensuring all tasks are updated and stakeholders are informed of progress

2. Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain environment. (Internship experience in a large factory is highly valued).
  • Technical Skills:

○ Strong capability in Process Mapping and creating clear documentation.

○ High proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, basic formulas) and Google Workspace.

○ A strong interest in Industry 4.0, MES, or ERP systems (Oracle/SAP).

  • Soft Skills:

○ Detail-Oriented: A passion for accuracy in documentation and data.

○ Effective Communicator: Ability to explain technical steps to non-technical team members.

○ Eagerness to Learn: A proactive "can-do" attitude toward learning new software and digital tools.

○ Collaborative: Comfortable working with different departments to gather information
