Key responsibilities:
Marketing Procurement Lead in Vietnam:

You are going to implement the Marketing strategy with your agency partners and act as the FPOC in your Vietnam. As a marketing procurement market lead, you are responsible for managing the procurement of marketing-related goods and services for Unilever Vietnam. You are involved in developing and implementing procurement strategies, sourcing and engaging with reliable suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and terms, and ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the marketing procurement process.
Some of the typical duties and responsibilities of a marketing procurement market lead are:
• Conducting market research and analysis to identify the best suppliers and vendors for marketing needs, such as, ecommerce, digital, creative, events, merchandising, etc.
• Developing and executing procurement plans and strategies that align with the organization’s marketing objectives
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms and conditions, such as pricing, delivery, quality, service, etc.

• Managing the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
• Monitoring and evaluating the performance of suppliers and vendors, and resolving any issues or concerns
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as marketing teams, business units, senior management, suppliers, vendors, etc.
• Reviewing and updating existing contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors, and ensuring on-going feasibility and value
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and innovation in marketing procurement.

Asset Creation Lead SEA
• Establish valued relationships with stakeholders within and outside of Unilever, including suppliers, CDMO, MCO and DMC business stakeholders, Supplier Operations, Strategy and Insights team and third-party service providers
• Business engagement: Act as first point of contact for the business to all Asset Creation procurement related questions. Ensure the satisfaction of Unilever stakeholders with the goods or services provided within your portfolio while ensuring compliancy of business users to procurement policies and contracts
• Vendor management: Identification and initial assessments of suppliers, preparing and managing supplier selection process and working with legal to finalise commercial agreements
• Identify and deliver value adding activities to contribute to business and procurement targets. Implementation and tracking of saving projects in SRS tool and delivery of cash through payment term extensions
• Selling ideas to stakeholders to convey value while communicating appropriately
• Continuously improve ways of working and optimize activities in your portfolio

Desired skills & experience: 

To be a successful marketing procurement market lead, one should have the following qualifications and skills:
• A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience in marketing procurement, sourcing, or category management, preferably in a leadership role
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with procurement software and systems (SWOP, Coupa, CLM, SRS, etc…)

• Knowledge of marketing trends, best practices, and industry standards.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Leading multiple projects simultaneously and independently
• Unafraid to work with senior stakeholders and key suppliers, supported through excellent communication skills.
