Role and Purpose:
The Store Manager position is to oversee and manage daily store operations to ensure the store achieves its sales targets, delivers excellent customer service, and maintains brand standards in store presentation, operations, and team performance. The Store Manager leads daily store operations, manages store staff, and ensures effective execution of sales, customer service, and store standards. The role monitors store performance, analyzes sales and traffic data, and works with Marketing/VM and Product teams to drive sales and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations Management: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring procedures, standards, and opening/closing routines are followed.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement: Monitor sales against targets, analyze traffic and conversion data, and implement actions to drive sales growth.
Team Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise, coach, and schedule store staff to ensure strong performance and high service standards.
Customer Experience: Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
Store Presentation & Visual Merchandising: Maintain store cleanliness and ensure product displays follow VM guidelines in coordination with the Marketing/VM team.
Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels, support replenishment, and assist with inventory control.
Reporting & Stakeholder Coordination: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly store performance reports, and report store performance, issues, and improvement plans to the Retail Manager and relevant stakeholders (e.g., Marketing/VM and Product teams).
Required skills:
- Leadership & Management: Ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a retail team; strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Sales & Business Awareness: Understanding of key retail KPIs (sales, traffic, conversion, ATV) and ability to analyze sales data to improve performance.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle customer situations professionally.
- Operational Skills: Knowledge of store operations, POS systems, and basic inventory management.
- Personal Attributes: Customer-focused, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays.
