Working hours: Mon - Sat, 9am to 6pm (WFH on Sat)

JOB DESCRIPTION

R&D Executive is responsible for a defined product portfolio as technical business partner for the go-to-market organization (marketing, sales, quality, legal, consumer care lines as main functions) in implementing and activating products in the local market to drive sales and to be compliant with TMICC and local legislation and market requirements.

In this context they work closely with key Regional R&D stakeholders such as Technical Project Leaders (TPL), RD&I Formulation Technologist and other RD&I Capabilities e.g. Consumer Technicle Insight (CTI), Nutrition, Regulatory and Packaging, RDC (Regional Deploy Centers).

Main Responsibilities:

  • TM must lead and manage project of imported IC products from other TMICC countries or CMs to launch in Vietnam with OTIF delivery.
  • PMD creation for the artwork development process.
  • Coordinate SD creation by collecting supporting documents before requesting agency to do SD registration.
  • Complete all information related to specifications in SAP PLM, FDA registration, Halal application and A/W development (Sublabel artwork).
  • To ensure Ice cream ingredients and formulation compliance with Food Safety Standards, Country Food Regulation & company guidelines or policies such as Nutrition Criteria, Marketing to Kids and etc.
  • Monitor new regulations related to ice cream products and import process, inform this new regulation to all stakeholders, and ensure smooth implementation of this new regulation within grace period.
  • Coordinate with related functions to manage & respond to external challenge (Customs clearance, Consumer and Customer).
  • First point of call for any country's activities that require R&D input for IC (e.g, give advice to TPL on product claim, labelling, new ingredients, etc).
  • Building the KBS (Knowledge Based Selling) or Product Story Telling with alignment with Regional and Local team.
  • Competitor monitoring data with ice cream product assessment & tracking FDA registration and exchange information with Regional CTI & TPLs.

KEY QUALIFICATION

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Proven experience within R&D, Marketing and/or Supply Chain including stakeholders management and project management

Key skills required:

  • Good knowledge of local regulatory requirements for foods.
  • Experience in formulation and product development at least 2-3 years
  • Problem-solving, creativity, and innovation mindset.
  • Project management and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Understanding of sensory science and quality management.
  • Data analysis and documentation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Positive attitude and energy and Team spirit.
